Hike at Pinnacles National Park

My brother was in the east bay June 21-24 taking a class for work. He had some free time in the evenings so we planned to meet half way on Thursday evening. Initially we were shooting for Paso Robles, but I left sooner then him so I went further north. We checked in with each other on the road to figure out where we were. As it turns out the half way point was in the town of Solodad, CA. God bless us because there is a national park just outside of Solodad, called Pinnacles National Park, so we decided to go for a hike.
We hiked up a trail that went between the mountain peaks
There is a cave with a gate that leads to a very narrow trail (like a slot canyon)
It’s dark in there and they recommend a flashlight.
We got out of there and started heading back.
Back in the parking lot after our hike
We had a good dinner
Jim had to fly home the following morning from San Francisco and I headed home. It was a good day!
